The Perth Weekend Retreat
There is amazing peace and quiet at the Chittering Valley Retreat Centre which brings to you the perfect location for your yoga retreat. This facility has an abundance of birds and beautiful gardens with an easy walk to the river that meanders through the valley below the retreat centre. Heating and mostly single accommodation plus an amazing vegetarian menu makes this a 'must do' event for 2011. Your busy world is forgotten as you relax and enjoy your time away to nurture "you". Massage may be available - to be confirmed closer to the retreat date.

The Program
Sunshine Yoga offers you a 3 day program of yoga, relaxation and health practices. Lyn creates variety and imparts years of valuable information and experience that you can take home and use. "Simplicity" is her motto.
The program commences after dinner on Friday evening with "getting to know each other" and a meditation before bed. Lyn offers daily structured sessions of:

• early sunrise energisation & tai chi warm-ups • a variety of yoga postures and movements • breathing techniques • guided relaxations and meditation • silence • forest walks • free time for resting or enjoying nature

Day 1:
3.00pm to 6.00pm - Registration and Settling In with a Briefing of the weekend.
6.30pm - Dinner.
8.00pm - Meditation before bed then Silence until breakfast.
Day 2:
7:00am - Energisation exercises outside on grassed area

9.30am to 12.30pm - A variety of yoga routines, breathing exercises, meditation and relaxation.
Lunch down at the river (if a nice day) & Free Time (massage may be available)
3.30pm - Partner Yoga & Yoga Nidra
Dinner
8.00pm - Meditation before bed
Day 3:
7:00am - Qi Gong exercises outside on grassed area.

9.30am to 12.30pm - A flowing Yoga Vinyasa, Pranayama.

A Deposit of $250.00 is required at the time of booking with full payment due 6 weeks prior to the retreat. Payments are non-refundable.
Concession rates are provided for pensioners, students and full-time unemployed. Proof may be required for eligibility.

You are offered wonderfully nutritious and tasty cuisine, fresh-made on the premises by Kate, award winning chef and owner of Chittering Valley Retreat. She uses organic foods wherever possible. Here is an example of their Winter Menu:

Getting There
Chittering Valley Retreat is approximately 65 km from Perth CBD. It takes about 50 minutes by car if you follow these simple directions:
1. Take the Roe or Reid Highway to the Great Northern Highway.
2. Head north to Bullsbrook.
3. At Bullsbrook, turn right into Chittering Road and continue along for approximately 16.5 km until you reach Chittering Valley Road.
4. Turn right into Chittering Valley Road and continue for another 2.2 km until you reach Chittering Valley Retreat on the left.
5. Turn left into the driveway and follow the drive around until you reach the main building.
