"Before attending your beginner's classes I did feel slightly anxious at the prospect of my class, especially going into what is predominantly a female world. The majority of activities I have participated in have been the opposite - weight training, boxing, soccer etc, so I really didn't know what to expect.
It had been a goal of mine to start yoga classes for about 2 years mainly for stress relief but also to help with my breathing (asthma) and also to improve my lower back, which over the years of heavy workouts and running was beginning to get rather sore in the mornings.
Well, very much thanks to you and your wonderful approach and ability to teach I no longer ever have a sore back in the morning and believe you me some of the exercise its had lately whilst labouring for a builder has definitely tested that. My breathing is also a lot easier. So in summary I literally can't recommend yoga enough to anyone. I tell friends and family and some are even surprised because of my previous types of interests.
Someone did actually say to me "yoga - isn't that for girls?" To which I hastily replied not anymore mate, you should try it - it's fantastic. Now having purchased your beginners video, which I do at least twice a week, I realize how much I have gained from taking those first steps to my very first class.
