It is necessary if we wish to maintain our health and wellbeing. You might say "any holiday will do". Well, we know that Sunshine Yoga Holidays are not just any holiday - they are more than a holiday - they are an unique experience!  They are a way to bring your life back into balance and harmony. This occurs through the wonderful guidance of your facilitator, Lyn, who organises the complete trip for you. Be assured you will eliminate your stress and experience instead, wonderful relaxation. The varied programs offer variety of yoga and relaxation practices, tours and activities, time out for your own adventure or simply reading a book under a tree, and plenty of nutritious meals

There is a perfect Sunshine Yoga luxury holiday on offer for you. All age groups and levels of fitness are catered for. You do not require any yoga experience to enjoy and benefit from a Sunshine Yoga holiday.

Choosing that special place to take a group for an 8 day yoga holiday is a priority for Sunshine Yoga and Health. "We live with so much stress, tension and anxiety daily, so it is extremely important to chose only 'very special' destinations where these factors can be eliminated for at least one-week", comments Lyn.

She adds that "both Lord Howe Island and Lakes Taupo & Wanaka, New Zealand are indeed very special places on our planet and offer only the purest energy, tranquility, peace and unsurpassed beauty". Our Italian tours now include Positano, Tuscany, North Umbria and Magical Umbria. These are all undoubtedly very special locations. We stay out-of-town, surrounded by nature and embracing ancient history. Our latest holiday addition is Hoi An in Vietnam. It's beautiful people, landscape, history and culture make this a very exciting, relaxing and culturally different than previous tours. All holidays are listed and ready to be booked.
Group involvement is a powerful tool for healing, nurturing and friendship. Fun and laughter is shared with the vast array of personalities that come together.

Sunshine Yoga has been offering specialised yoga holidays since 2000. Complete holiday packages are available, which include:
    •  air travel  (excluding NZ and Italy)
    •  accommodation
    •  tours
    •  meals (most meals provided but not all)
    •  yoga, energisation, qi gong and relaxation each day
    • a special comprehensive client pack
    • adventure & friendship

Included also is Lyn's support, guidance and friendship. Accommodation is twin-share (single is offered at extra cost) in modern, self-contained apartments, cabins or hotels.

Sunshine Yoga package deals can include air travel ex Brisbane or ex Sydney for some destinations. Check the details on the specific holiday webpage. All packages provide:

    •  single person, participating in the yoga program
    •  two people/couples, with only one participating in the yoga program
    •  two people/couples, with both participating in the yoga program
    •  group combinations on request

It is not essential that you are practiced at yoga. However, if you are new to yoga please let us know when booking

Yoga Practices

Daily yoga practices are varied. Energisation exercises and Qi gong are mostly done outdoors in nature. The yoga sessions in Positano are both outdoors on the wooden platform overlooking the Mediterranean, as well as the yoga studio that sits in a grove of trees. Most locations provide a room suited to our yoga practices.

Lyn's gentle, focused and restorative yoga is created for both the newcomer and experienced practitioners to yoga. You will share in a wonderful variety of standing, sitting and lying down postures that create flexibility, tone, strength and increased vitality. You will learn how to breathe correctly, how to meditate and how to relax. All practices will enhance the enjoyment of the tours and our walking and hiking excursions.

Lyn has a wonderful soothing voice which brings an authenticity to your yoga, relaxation and meditation. Your body will feel pleasantly stretched, your mind beautifully calm and your soul totally serene and connected.

You are offered daily:
 • yoga poses and routines  • energisation  • tai chi warm-ups and qi gong  • silent and quiet time  • breathing exercises and pranayama  • guided relaxation and meditation  • nature walks and hiking  • organised tours • free time
